To ensure the best possible results for our customers, remap servicing should not and will not be performed on a vehicle which is faulty or in poor condition.
Before arranging an appointment, customers will be asked to confirm that their car is at the appropriate level of health and maintenance to receive our services.
Please bear in mind that — although Elite Auto Tuning NI can provide an optional diagnostic service at an additional cost (£25)— the scope of our service does not include the work of a mechanic. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the information provided to our team is accurate.

Elite Auto Tuning NI will consider a vehicle at the suitable level for remapping if it has been maintained through regular servicing using genuine parts and it has had its cambelt/water pump changed and its gearbox service oil changed.
Having verbally confirmed with the customer that the car is able to receive remap servicing, an appointment time will be agreed upon, and a non-refundable £50 deposit will be taken as firm confirmation for this specific time slot.
This can be paid via our secure website or using PayPal.
During the appointment, the customer will first be expected to take their car for a test drive to confirm its current condition.

A visual inspection of the vehicle, including under the bonnet, will then be performed by the Elite Auto Tuning NI team member.

A full vehicle health check will be carried out using a professional diagnostic tool, The tool will also be used to evaluate and record the condition of the vehicle.
These steps determine whether the vehicle is an appropriate subject for remap servicing.
If the customer’s vehicle does not pass this health check, Elite Auto Tuning NI retains the right to refuse service. Once the vehicle has successfully passed the health check, Elite Auto Tuning NI can proceed with the remapping service.

Once remapping has been completed, the customer will once again be asked to test drive their vehicle, to see if they are happy with the service.

A second health check will be undertaken using the diagnostic tool, and the customer can request to receive copies of both reports either physically or virtually for their own records.

At this point, the impact of the remapping service should be evident to the customer, and this is when they will be expected to pay the outstanding balance for the service.
Please note that the team at Elite Auto Tuning NI will not perform any physical upgrades or alterations to your vehicle.

Our service is restricted to the software of your vehicle. Remapping consists of changing the paramounts of the engine control unit (ECU) – a computer in your car which controls your engine’s power.

Following the remap procedure, any issues which arise are likely to be mechanical, as opposed to a problem with the remap itself.

We define remapping as a program modification within a vehicle’s electronic control unit (ECU). This involves altering the operating parameters within the code (or ‘map’) to enhance the vehicle’s performance and/or economy, which doesn’t require any change to the hardware of the vehicle.

Customers should be aware that a car which has been remapped will be forced to work harder than previously; therefore, any pre-existing vulnerabilities in the mechanics of the vehicle may be emphasised or highlighted after this service.
Given that vehicle components are liable to fail regardless of a vehicle’s remapped status, Elite Auto Tuning NI is unable to accept responsibility for any mechanical part failure following the application of our service.

Should customers believe that a fault in their vehicle is a direct result of the remapping procedure, as opposed to a pre-existing or pending mechanical fault, then this claim must be presented within 30 days and certified with a quote from an independent, third-party specialist garage or main dealers for a full refund to be considered.
Similarly, should the customer feel dissatisfied with the results of this service, we will offer a return to stock option for £50. Refunds will only be progressed when the car has been restored to its Previous Status and any Refund will be minus the £50 return to stock fee.
All vehicles brought for remapping, or any services provided by Elite Auto Tuning NI will be regarded fit upon introduction and it isn’t the obligation of Elite Auto Tuning NI to demonstrate so.

AD blue removal ,EGR and DPF removal is for off Road use only

It is the duty of the client to guarantee that the vehicle is fully inspected in regard of adjusting and timing belt scheduling. Any unexpected damage that may happen during or after the procedure isn’t secured or ensured by Elite Auto Tuning NI.

Elite Auto Tuning NI will inform the client with respect to any shortcomings that become obvious during or after the remapping procedure.

We won’t acknowledge any liability following 30 days from the date the remapping procedure was completed.

The establishment of any item including however not restricted to remapping might possibly void the vehicle’s factory warranty, and it is the duty of clients to check this with their vehicle producer.
It is the client’s duty to inform their insurers of any adjustments. However, once you have completed any adjustments to your vehicle and thereafter develops a fault then we won’t acknowledge liability and obligation for any of those parts previously, during or after any remapping procedure.
Please be aware that in the unlikely event if our remap is “detected”, this may nullify and invalidate your manufacturer’s warranty.

Please do not overlook since every vehicle is distinctive and manufacturers will, from time to time, put different ECUs into the same car and numerous vehicles have abnormal configurations or modifications which are only evident when reading the ECU.
Therefore, we strongly propose that you discuss the potential gains and remapping options available directly with our engineer.
Elite Auto Tuning NI tuning database is continuously being processed, updated, and rectified. We are very confident that our unique data is amidst the most in-depth ECU remapping data currently available anywhere in the world.

We try our utmost best to make sure the data is accurate and updated on a regular basis, keeping in mind this should strictly be used as a guideline. Hence there is a possibility that the performance and economy gain available may exceed what is stated in the guideline, likewise the gains may be less than what is the data suggests.
Economy Remapping will require customers to drive 1000 miles before the mpg will reflect its new MPG value.

DPF (diesel particulate filter) removal/delete/issues
At the current time of writing, an MOT requires that a visual check of the DPF being present is obligatory.
If we arrange for your DPF to be removed physically, the DPF canister will be cut open; the filter physically removed and the DPF canister welded as back up. For your MOT, under the current rules, your vehicle should pass its MOT when your vehicle is serviced in this way.

We offer DPF software removal and may therefore arrange for a qualified mechanic to remove your DPF for you if requested. Please note that it is illegal to use a vehicle on the roads that has had the DPF filter removed, and we will not take any legal liability if you choose to use the vehicle on the road once the DPF software or filter is deleted/removed. If your vehicle fails an MOT due to the DPF software or filter removal,
Elite Auto Tuning NI will not be responsible for this.

Equally we will not cover either you or any future owners of your vehicle for this or for replacement of the DPF.

A ‘stage 1’ remap should not cause an issue with your DPF filter, however depending on the use of your vehicle and the way it is driven once remapped, there is always a small risk that the DPF soot levels will rise causing issues with your vehicle.
We do not accept responsibility for DPF issues caused because of a remap. For this reason, we must recommend a DPF removal before having a remap done, despite our belief that the majority of the time it is unnecessary.

Engine Carbon Cleaning
Liability
Engine carbon cleaning should not damage your vehicle: it is a safe practice that cleans the engine.
However, Elite Auto Tuning NI and Carbon Clean Car and Marine do not accept any liability for your engine malfunctioning or breaking down when or after having the engine carbon cleaned or using our fuel additives.

In unfortunate rare circumstances, if a part of your engine was already weak but still functioning but was then cleaned and failed once unblocked, then we accept no legal responsibility to cover this.
If the engine and parts are healthy and not faulty then the clean should only help them work more efficiently and it will not damage them but may highlight other defects.
We do not offer a money back guarantee with carbon cleans since this is not a reversible process.

Depending how much carbon is in your engine this will determine how much difference you will feel from the clean.

The customer must report any issues they develop within 7 days of the work being carried out and will refrain from slanderous activity on or off social media without the sufficient evidence to back up any claims that our software has caused such problems.
The customer accepts that if this is not adhered to, Elite Auto tuning NI have the right to seek legal action.
